'From Table to Toque' is a simple entry level cookbook for the enthusiastic novice. A novice, who has long wondered if there were spices beyond salt and pepper. An individual, who has dreamed of picking up fresh herbs at the shop and having the slightest idea what to do with them. A guest, who has fantasied about being able to say 'I'll bring something for dessert'. The book is a collation of other people's recipes dumbed down and reframed into one-page idiot-guides. We've tried to keep everything extra simple by cooking 90% of things at same temperature and for roughly the same amount of time. You don't need a huge array of equipment, but investing in a few quality items will make a huge difference. As the man says, 'I can't believe this Ferrari goes faster.'
